Janie and Bobby

Janie told Bobby they were on their way

They were gonna make it just wait and see

As time dragged on, she was gone

As time went by, Bobby thought he would die

Bobby got to school in the nick of time

Lookin' for adventure its what he'd find

While Janie was gone, he'd live on

He'd find a way, he'd get through the day

Bobby went surfin', the waves blew him away

Janie moved to Texas and lives on a lake

As time drags on, she's still gone

As time goes by, Bobby know some day,

Bobby played the fool a second time
